Greetings.
I am writing to express my interest and desire for Food Technologist, Quality
Controller/Assurance or Food Safety Controller position.
I have completed my Bachelor Degree (BSc. in Food Science and Technology) at University of
Venda. My Course highlights include production of foods, Science behind manufacturing of
food, legislation regulating food safety and Security, and the operational based matters in Food
manufacturing industries. I have worked with Foodcorp/Rclfoods (Sunbake Polokwane,
Tzaneen & Nelspruit) for 6 years as Food Safety Technician, Food Safety Controller
(interim) and recently QA Technologist.
I also offer the following Qualities:
 Extensive experience in report writing and presentation,
 Ability to work with minimum supervision,
 Ability to manage time and stress,
 Strategic thinking and innovative problem solving,
 Ability to work effectively with people of different national and cultural backgrounds,
 Ability to Coach and mentoring staff with regard to Food Safety & Quality (GMP),
 Knowledge of Food Safety management systems with respect to ISO 22000:2005,
 Knowledge of Food Safety management systems with respect to ISO 22002-1 Technical
specification (PRP’s),
 Knowledge of Food Safety management systems with respect to FSSC 22000,
 Good Communication and interpersonal skills,
 Self-motivation and well developed leadership skills, and
 Ability to individually and with team effectively.
I have a strong knowledge and understanding of Food safety, food quality, food security, Cleaning
& Sanitation program, and Implementing & maintenance of PRP’s throughout the organization.
My work experience; passion for food; academic knowledge and understanding of Food science,
