BWI Interiors
With an annual average turnover of 50million, BW Interiors are
in the top ten market leaders for refurbishments and fit-out
project work. They deliver projects from 5k to 25million.
Working for the Westminster Pension Fund, the Cat A fit-out
project consisted of the basement, 7 floors and roof. The
contract was based on a seven month program and Document
Control was BIW based, working on site along with the internal team and two sub-contractors,
as well as the Architect in question, Roger Stephenson Architects.

projects for the company;
Royal Opera House was part of the Thames
Gateway development programme situated in
Purfleet, Essex. Rated BREEAM Excellent, it
features a ‘barrel vault’ frame constructed from a
complex but light weight triangulated truss covered
in a green roof. Structural Engineers; Arup & WSP,
Architects: Nicholas Hare Associates & Chetwoods.
Thomas Fairchild School is based in the London Borough of
Hackney and the value was worth 7.5million pounds.

2. As well as four other buildings on the Olympic Park, Carillion also constructed the Media Hub,
pictured left. The complex is a 24-hour media hub that caters over 20,000 broadcasters,
photographers and print journalists facilitating broadcasts to 4 billion people worldwide. The
construction cost was £355million.
