BWI Interiors
With an annual average turnover of 50million, BW Interiors are
in the top ten market leaders for refurbishments and fit-out
project work. They deliver projects from 5k to 25million.
Working for the Westminster Pension Fund, the Cat A fit-out
project consisted of the basement, 7 floors and roof. The
contract was based on a seven month program and Document
Control was BIW based, working on site along with the internal team and two sub-contractors,
as well as the Architect in question, Roger Stephenson Architects.

EMCOR Engineering Services Limited
EMCOR Engineering have
100+ years’ experience within
the construction industry and
looked after Wates ‘Alliance’
projects with regards to their
M&E. Projects at the time
included: a new block at
Kingston University, part of Somerset House – Kings College,
Buckingham gate (residential building with commercial offices –
pictured, right) in which the client was Land Securities. Wigmore
Street was being set up at this time, and regular visits to the Hatfield
Head Office and Canary Wharf were undergone.

McLaren
Winner of the Building Contractor of the year
2011, McLaren have a Forecast £400 million
turnover for 2011/12. I have worked on two
projects for the company;
Royal Opera House was part of the Thames
Gateway development programme situated in
Purfleet, Essex. Rated BREEAM Excellent, it
features a ‘barrel vault’ frame constructed from a
complex but light weight triangulated truss covered
in a green roof. Structural Engineers; Arup & WSP,
Architects: Nicholas Hare Associates & Chetwoods.
Thomas Fairchild School is based in the London Borough of
Hackney and the value was worth 7.5million pounds.

Carillion

2. As well as four other buildings on the Olympic Park, Carillion also constructed the Media Hub,
pictured left. The complex is a 24-hour media hub that caters over 20,000 broadcasters,
photographers and print journalists facilitating broadcasts to 4 billion people worldwide. The
construction cost was £355million.

The London Cancer Clinic’s cost was £80m, and the
largest new build in the private healthcare sector for 30

construction collaboration technologies (also sometimes described as project management or
project extranet systems), to customers in the construction and property sectors. It was
acquired by a German company, Conject, in December 2010, and adopted its parent
company's branding in April 2012
