2. Active Suspension System
Active suspension uses an onboard system to control the
vertical movement of the vehicle's wheels relative to the
vehicle body rather than the passive suspension provided
by large springs where the movement is determined entirely
by the road surface.
Two main functionalities:
To isolate the vehicles body from external disturbance
(Comfort)
To maintain a firm contact between the road and the tyres
(Control)

3. Working of Active Suspension System
It can be arranged in series or parallel combination with the passive suspension
A sensor is attached to measure the motion of the suspension system
Then it is coupled to the controller
It receives signals and generates control signals
The control signals are transmitted to amplifier that drives the active suspension
element
