3G Optimization
Role : RF Optimization Engineer (3G).
Duration : Since Mar’11 to Oct’11.
Deliverables :
 Planning and designing 3G RF for Bharti 3G sites in J&K.
 Verifying External GSM relation along with BCCH, BSIC, CI and LAC analysis of WNCS and WMRR for worst performing
cell and Definition of missing neighbor from WNCS. 2) Parameter 3G Parameter Discrepancy from Kget.
 Verifying the definition External GSM cell along with necessary parameter changes required in corresponding 2G BSC.
 Performing technical site survey for Ericsson’s existing site and new site for implementation as 3G sites creating
coverage predictions for 3G sites already on air using TCPU.
 Generating the coverage prediction plots and statistics (based on Polygons & Maps).

Duration : Since Jan’11 to Mar’11.
Deliverables :
 Prepared onsite as well as the add cell and onsite CCR scripts.
 Created neighbor for U2U, U2G and G2U.
 Successfully executed 300 SCFT for Aircel 3G respectively post processing of SCFT and Cluster Drive Logs.
 Undertook parametric tuning for HSPA and IRAT.
 Performed KPI analysis for CS-Speech, CS-64, PS-128, PS-384 & HSDPA for accessibility, retainabiltiy and mobility.
 Actively involved in IRAT handover and reselection.
 Spectrum cleanliness of the UMTS-900 band provided by costumer through Agilent Frequency Scanner.
