Election results
 Pinarayi Vijayan led led LDF created history in
Kerala by coming back to power for a second
consecutive. The Communist Party of India
(Marxist) put up an impressive show and
bagged 62 of the 140 seats. The CPI on the
other hand won in 17 seats, while the Congress
and IUML ended up with 21 and 15 seats
respectively.
The BJP on the other hand did not manage to
open its account in a state that it fought very
hard.

ELECTION RESULTS
 The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is set
to form the next government in Puducherry
with a majority. Final results for Puducherry
Assembly Election Results 2021 were declared
for all 30 Assembly seats of Puducherry on
Sunday night in which the NDA won 16 seats
(majority mark). The NDA in Puducherry
consists of the All India N.R. Congress, which
contested in 16 of the Union Territory's 30
seats, the BJP nine and the AIADMK five.
While AINRC bagged 10 seats, BJP won 6
seats. The UPA won 8 seats with DMK winning
6 seats and Congress 2

ELECTION RESULTS
 The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led
National Democratic Alliance (NDA) or
"Mitrajot" (Alliance of Friends) is set to
form the government in Assam for the
second consecutive time, as the ruling
alliance according to the latest trends is
likely to win 74 seats in the 126-member
Assembly. The Congress-led "Mahajot"
(Grand Alliance) is expected to win 50 seats.

ELECTION RESULTS
 Even as the Trinamool Congress is headed for a landslide
victory in West Bengal winning 198 seats and leading in
15 as of 11.45 pm, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has
lost to her former trusted lieutenant Suvendu Adhikari by
a slim margin of 1956 votes, data on the Election
Commission website said. Earlier, while asking party
workers to not fuel speculations before the counting is
completed, Mamata had said she will accept the verdict of
the people. Meanwhile, the Trinamool Congress has
demanded recounting in Nandigram constituency alleging
a number of illegalities in the vote counting process,
although the Returning Officer has rejected the demand.

ELECTION RESULTS
 The opposition DMK-Congress alliance is
heading for a big win in the 234-member Tamil
Nadu assembly. The DMK and its allies are
leading in 140-plus seats. The ruling AIADMK
– which started the day with a lead on 95 seats -
- is now leading in 80-plus seats. The majority
mark stands at 118. The DMK has not been in
power in the state for a decade, and this time
the party and the AIADMK are contesting
without their towering leaders, J Jayalalithaa
and M Karunanidhi whose deaths have brought
a huge change in the political landscape.

  • 96. ELECTION RESULTS  The opposition DMK-Congress alliance is heading for a big win in the 234-member Tamil Nadu assembly. The DMK and its allies are leading in 140-plus seats. The ruling AIADMK – which started the day with a lead on 95 seats - - is now leading in 80-plus seats. The majority mark stands at 118. The DMK has not been in power in the state for a decade, and this time the party and the AIADMK are contesting without their towering leaders, J Jayalalithaa and M Karunanidhi whose deaths have brought a huge change in the political landscape.
