Who is the audience for this identity?
The audience for this identity is a group of people who are interested in viewing and learning about art.
How can I understand the product, service, company or client
thoroughly?
Outsider Art is a particular art form that consists of people who never considered themselves to be artists.
The outsider artists are often untrained and their artwork is considered raw and brute. It is known that many
outsider artists are Schizophrenic, Psychotic, Naive, Intuitive, or just living on the edge of society.
Who is the competition? What kind of identity systems do
they have?
The competition would be other artist exhibitions.
Their Identity systems would be through flyers, posters, merch, etc.
Exactly what are my clients hopes, needs or problems in creat-
ing a new graphic identity?
My clients hopes and needs are to attract as many visitors possible to the artist exhibition.
My clients problems would be that there are a lot of people who may not understand what outsider art is.
What I did to help my clients hopes, needs and problems :
To help my client attract visitors to the museum I created simple yet attractive posters, tickets, and T-shirts. To
help visitors understand exactly what outsider art is, before the opeining of the exhibition there is a two day sympo-
sium. At the symposium it is revealed exactly what this art form is. To make people interested enough to attend both
days, there are give away gifts.
