2. Brentwood Station
We chose Brentwood station
as a group as we could adapt
it well within the narrative of
our thriller and one of our
main characters travelling to
get the girl.
The station was easy to film
on as it was out of peak
hours, currently the trains
are out of use so we could
have the entire platform to
ourselves. This eliminated
restricting of time when
filming therefore making sure
we got the shots needed and
taking our to time to make
sure we didn’t leave anything
out.
Facing no trains running did
come as a problem as we
need a passing train as a
shot included in our thriller.
Therefore our group making
decisions weather we have
the need to get a shot of a
moving train in our thriller
or the train station on its
own as it carries a eerie
persona.
We believed a train station would
aid us in making a successful thriller
as it consists of many dangers
including the train track, this
heightens the audiences tensions
and keeps them interested.
