Responsibilities: Running Longitudinal Neurotrauma study participants through follow-up sessions. This consists of
bringing them to the Ophthalmology Department to receive a Heidelberg Optical Coherence Tomography assessment.
The participant then fills out two paper assessments, performs a computerized memory assessment, and finally a
balance test. After the session, the encounter note is entered into Vista Computerized Patient Record System, and all
documents are filed appropriately.
FOCUS Vision study participants are assessed with the Humphrey Matrix visual field machine, the Functional Visual
Analyzer, the Zeiss Cirrus OCT, and on the binocular pupillometry device.
Office duties include calibrating and maintaining ophthalmic machines, ensuring adequate paper forms are present in files,
assembling study participant packets, and using CPRS and VistaWeb to screen potential participants for eligibility for
Longitudinal Neurotrauma; Chronic Effects of Neurotrauma Consortium (CENC); Depression & Transcranial Magnetic
