  2. 2. VOICE<br />It’s a doing sentence comprising of verb.<br />It’s of two types :<br /> ACTIVE VOICE<br /> PASSIVE VOICE<br />
  3. 3. ACTIVE VOICE<br />When the subject of the verb perform the action named in the verb.<br />Ex- The policeman caught the thief<br />
  4. 4. PASSIVE VOICE<br />When the subject receives the action name in the verb.<br />Ex- The thief was caught by the policeman.<br />
  5. 5. RULES TO CHANGE<br />The object in the active voice becomes the subject in the passive voice.<br />In the passive voice we use “BY” and “BEEN”.<br />In case if the profession or the indefinite object is given we don’t use “BY”. <br />Ex-<br /> ACTIVE- He will help you.<br /> PASSIVE-You will be helped by him.<br />
