7. Bryan Avery
Owner/Producer
Bryan has lived in Western Colorado most of his life. He
grew up in the Grand Junction Valley and spent many
summers on a sheep ranch in Collbran, Colorado.
Bryan attended Snow Junior College in Utah and Mesa
State College in Grand Junction. Bryan began his
insurance career as a Farmers Insurance Group agent
in 1981. In 1982, he moved to Glenwood Springs where
he owned a Farmers Agency until August, 1989. He
joined Glenwood Insurance in October, 1989, where he
became a partner in January of 1999. He specializes in
commercial lines insurance.
Bryan lives in Glenwood Springs with his wife, Nettie.
He has a daughter and two sons and is an active
community volunteer. Bryan serves on the Glenwood
Springs Hockey Association Board and the Three
Rivers Sports Foundation Board.
He enjoys golfing, skiing, biking and spending time with
his family.

8. Nettie R. Avery
Owner/Producer
Nettie is a native of Glenwood Springs having lived in
the area since 1965. She attended Colorado State
University, the University of Kansas and the University
of Colorado, where she obtained her B.A. in 1987. She
is also a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority. She
returned to Glenwood Springs in 1989 and began her
Insurance Career. Nettie attained her Certified
Insurance Counselor designation in 1998 and became a
partner of GIA, LLC on January 1, 1999. She specializes
in Commercial Insurance sales.
Nettie lives in Glenwood Springs with her husband,
Bryan, and their two sons, Dru and Cam. Nettie is an
active volunteer for St. Stephens Catholic Parish.

9. Robert Asa Jones
Owner/Producer
Asa is a Wyoming native who is a graduate of Western
State College in Gunnison, Colorado. He has lived in the
Glenwood Springs area since 1971. Asa began his
Insurance Career as an Insurance Adjuster in 1971 and
in 1982 purchased shares in the Glenwood Insurance
Agency.
Asa is a Certified Insurance Counselor and specializes
in Commercial Insurance sales. He resides with his wife
of 40+ years, Barbara, in Glenwood Springs. They have
two sons, Paxton and Trent. Asa and Barbara are active
in local charity non-profit service clubs, Valley View
Hospital and the St. Stephens Catholic Church.
Hobbies include woodworking, golf, skiing, mountain
biking, motorcycling, fly fishing, rock climbing and
hiking.

10. Scott Bolitho
Owner/Producer
Scott is the manager of the Life, Health and Financial
Services division of Glenwood Insurance. He became a
Certified Financial Planner in 1992 and specializes in
business continuation planning, estate planning, group
health insurance and retirement planning.
Scott grew up in Glenwood Springs, graduated from the
University of Northern Colorado with a degree in
Finance and worked for the Travelers Insurance
Company for seven years in the Financial Services
department in Denver. He and his family moved back to
Glenwood in 1990 to join Glenwood Insurance. He
became a partner in 1999.
Scott is married to Carolee and has eleven children. His
interests include advocacy for adoption, his family,
basketball, golf, photography, and travel.

11. Ian Exelbert
Owner/COO
Ian began his career with Glenwood Insurance Agency and
Continental Insurance Agency Alliance in September of 2011 as
the Chief Operating Officer. His responsibilities include
Accounting, H.R., I.T., Marketing, Strategic Planning and
Development and Sales Management. He grew up in Miami,
Florida and moved to Colorado to attend Colorado State
University in 1995. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in
Accounting and became a CPA in May of 2000. He worked for
Deloitte and Touche in Denver, Lafarge North America in both
Glenwood Springs and Denver and then US Bank. His most
recent position was President of US Bank in Glenwood Springs.
Ian has four sons, Blake, Braden, Garrett and Tyler. Ian is active
within the local community and has been involved with or
currently sits on the following Boards: YouthZone (Past Chair),
Glenwood Springs Tourism Board (Chair), Garfield County
Investment Advisory Committee, Colorado Mountain College
Advisory Board, US Bank Advisory Board, Rotary Club of
Glenwood Springs, and Junior Achievement.
His hobbies include spending time with his family, rafting,
hiking, running, camping, crossfit, sports, and travel.
