“Because I come from the Upper Arlington area myself, supporting local endeavors has
always been important to me. Being able to give a platform to local entertainers while giving
new and old customer’s great service is what Carsonie’s is all about,” said David Zadnik.
The Zadniks purchased Westerville Carsonie’s Stromboli & Pizza Kitchen in 1998 from
their Father-in-law, Frank Carsonie, who still acts as the location’s active manger. In 2007 they
chose to open the Upper Arlington location less than 2 miles from their home.
“Carsonie’s Upper Arlington feels like home to me and I want my guests to have the
same experience,” said General Manger Shawn Haines who has been with the company for 15
years. “My employees and customers are like family to me.”
