A Few Thoughts to Approaching Grants
for the Fiscal Year 2015…
We all want to secure funding for our non-profit
operations and programs. But, budgets can be tough for
non-profits any time of the year.
Question: What’s the best way to fit grants into your
budget?
Answer: Smaller organizations should partner with other
organizations to share the cost of having 30-40 grants
submitted for the year (the more grants you write, the better
odds are that you get awarded, plus funders favor
partnerships).
I have discovered that funders LOVE to see multiple
organizations submitting a grant to provide comprehensive
services to meet the WHOLE needs of the child, youth, young
adult, or adults.
