The ministryistargetingthe needy childreninthe majorslumsof Kampalathatis Kagugube,Katanga,
NamungoonaandKasubi.Inthese slumsthere are verymanychildrenwhoare reallyneedy.
The ministryalsointendstoreachout to children,youthandadultsinsouthwesternpartof Uganda in
the districtcalledKabale.Thisdistricthasverymanychildrensufferingdue topovertysince mostof the
people dependonsubsistence farmingforsurvival;ithasveryfew evangelical churcheswiththe
majoritybeingCatholicsfollowedbyProtestantsandfew Moslems,itisahillyplace andhighly
populatedasa resultpovertyisrampant.Normallyafamilyiscomprisedof 8-10people therefore
childrencannotbe educatedandhealthcare islimited.The ministryintendstooperate in4 areasin this
districtthat isDorwa,Butobere,Kamwezi andBubare.
Target groups
1 childrenwhoare needy these are frompovertystrickenfamilies.
2 childrenwithsingle parents
3 orphan childrenwhohave losttheirparents.
4 disowned/rejected children;these childrennormallyenduponstreetsorhouse boys,house girlsor
formgang groupsto revenge againstpeoplewhotheysee asenemies.
5teensforsalvationanddiscipleship.
6adultsthe ministryintendstoreachoutto the adultswiththe gospel.
TARGET AGE
For childsponsorshipthe ministryistargetingchildrenof 4yrsto 10 years.
Teen’sevangelismanddiscipleshipthe ministryintendstoreachoutthe teensof 12-18 years.
Adults;the ministryintendstoreachoutto all ages forthe gospel of salvation.
METHODOLOGY
The goals will be achievedthroughthe followingmethodsorways
Settingupchilddevelopmentcentresinthe areasmentionedabove.Thiscanbe done by puttingupour
ownbuildingsorrenting.
It can be done throughpartnershipswithlocal churchesorschoolstoprovide space andthe ministry
sponsorsneedychildreninthese churchesorschools.
Gettingbiodata fromchildrentoidentifythe needychildrenthiscanbe achievedbyvisitingthe homes
of these children,goingtotheirchurchesandschools.

2. Gettingtrainedchildrenworkersandtrainingothersbothstaff andvolunteers.
Each childdevelopmentCentrewillbe attachedtoa clinicwhere childrenwhogetsickcanbe treated
from.
Designingfliersandbrochureswithdetailedinformationaboutthe ministry.
The ministryshall beginbible clubswherechildrenmeeteverySaturday,these bible clubsare forboth
the sponsoredchildrenandnon-sponsoredchildren,childrenwillbe havingabible houreverySaturday.
Teen’sseminarsonce ayear.
Weeklyteen’sprograms
Childrencamponce a year.
Teensretreatonce a year.
Bible quizzescompetitiononce ayear.
School ministryonce aweekindifferentschools.
Christmaspartyfor childrenandteens.
Parents’seminar
Constructing/rentingahome forthe homelesschildrenwhere childrencanbe providedwithfood,
clothesandothernecessities.
Thisis forthose that evenwhentheyare givenschool fees, scholasticmaterialsmaystill notbe able to
study.
Those whoare fromabusive familieslike those whoare sexuallyabusedorthere isa possibilityof abuse.
Thentotal orphans.
Thisis helpful forthose childrenwhoare inthe slumsof Kampala
Hospital developmentismostespeciallyneededinKabaledistrictwherehospitalsare rare.Thisisdue
several reasonsbutthe maincouldbe povertybecause people are lookingatmoneytheyonlysetup
hospitalswhere theycanearnmore money.
Bible Collegewill be builtlaterfortrainingmenandwomenwhoserve the Lordfaithfullybutlackthe
skills.
Wellsaschildsponsorshipprogramistargetingthese specifiedareasyetevangelismwill notbe limited
to these areasonlyas the Lord will opennew doorssoshall we obeyhim.

3. In Uganda schoolscharge accordingto the standard of the school.InKampalathe schoolschosenare
the following.
1 Innermanprimaryschool
2 Bat valleyprimaryschool
3 childrencornerprimaryschool
The above schoolsare chosenbecause theyare close tothe target groupand the school feesis
manageable theycharge 150,000/= Uganda shillingswhichisequivalentto60 dollarsthiscoverstuition,
scholasticmaterials.
Otherschoolschargesare from200,000/= onto 800,000/= whichistoo high.
In southwesternUgandathat isKabale districtwe chose the followingschools;
1 Kabale Primaryschool
2 Ndorwaprimaryschool
3 Butobere primaryschool
4 Bubare primaryschool
5 Kigezi lowerprimaryschool
The schoolscharge 200,000/= whichcovers school fees,scholasticmaterialsanduniform.
The stardand of these schoolsisgoodfor the children.
The areas targetedthere are no otherorganizationsdoingthe kindof workourministryintendstodo
for the people.There are verymanychildrenare sufferingintheseareas,povertyisbitinghard,children
are everywhere everydaywonderingwithout goingtoschool,childrenare droppingoutof schools
everynowandthenbecause of school fees,childrenare dyingbecauseof simplediseasesbecause they
cannot accessmedical care,some are on the streetsalready,there are casesof girlsbeingrapedbytheir
fathersbecause there isnoprivacy.The teensformingganggroupsandmany are lostwithoutChristfor
the above reasonsRemnantAssembliesof ChristMinistriesintendstoreachoutto these people witha
holisticapproach.
