Original Hypothesis:

the store, making my shopping experience more efficient and enjoyable”
Revised Hypothesis:
“By using ShazARt, I will be able to save time learning about art pieces that I haven’t seen
before, making my art viewing experience more efficient and enjoyable”

6. Lessons Learned
1. What you start off developing with may not even be close to what
you end up with
■ We started making a shopping augmented reality application
■ We thought about shopping for books
■ We ended up doing recognizing art (though leveraging the same technology!)
2. User testing will reveal things that you would have never thought of
on your own
■ We realized the whole augmented reality aspect was pointless for our app’s purpose
■ We learned that a new screen for detailed information was a huge improvement
