· Building relationships withvarious business units in the communications industry e.g. satellite
channels, service providers, radio transmission, smart metering and Wifi technology.
· Build strong credible rapport with internal and external stakeholders
· Pro-actively manage risk exposure
· Collect payments forservices already rendered
· Responsible forledger consisting of 242 activeaccounts with a ledger balance of 20-25 million
· Reduced a Satellite business until debt of 10million of which the debt was 90days+ down to 1.8million
with in a year
· Provisionof cash forecasts and statistical reports to management as and when required
· Determining if the customer requires help withpayment plans or more incentive to make payment
· Negotiating payment plans and ensuring these are met to the agreement of both parties
· Escalating accounts and agreeing suspension of services witha workinggroup of directors to tackle
persistent late or non-payers
· Workwith the Sales Managers and internal Finance department to ensure the ledger is below the debt
split of 70/30 and ensuring 90days arrears are kept to a minimum level.
· Ensuring the ‘Days Sale Outstanding’ (DSO) is no more than 60 days
· Managing the ledger Split to 70% under 30 days and 30% over 90 day debt
· Arrange monthly meetings withour OU Business unit to ensure the 90days debt is to a minimum of
200k
· Identifying actions to ensure any invoices in the 30-60days old is prevented from becoming 90days old.
· Cash forecasting on a weekly and 13-week basis
· Customer visits to discuss arrears withtheir accountmanagers in Commercial

· Joining the Key & Trade accountsteam after my role in the dispute team as a credit controller going
back to debt chasing, this is a more challenging role working on the larger accounts.The larger 150+
accounts have no orders on stop, no reminders and very rarely go legal and are essential to have a good
working relationship with the customer to encourage them to pay by terms.
· Reducing the DSO (DaysSale Outstanding) 2011 reduced the DSOby 5 days
· Reducing 90day debt to 20k in 2011 forTrade & Key with the target value 25k
· Chasing invoicesfrom £200.00 to 250k+
· Negotiating payment plans withcustomers or 50/50 payments/credit
· Conference calls with customers or visits at the customer or a visit to the office.
· Reviewing credit limits when exceeded.
· Management of customer queries within SAP
· Leasing with accounthandlers (Sales) and customer service with regards to contractand invoicing
queries.
· Reporting to the team leader on top 10 debtors and all 90 day debtors in a 1 to 1 session on a monthly
basis.

· Managed time between the online subscription services and international customers due to a project
reducing the 90 day plus on the international ledger
· Managing all 30-60 day & 60 to 90 day debt to chase and resolve any queries on the ledger.
