2. Doing Business with Honda - Overview
Honda Power Equipment has modern internet browser based systems for commercial
transactions with our dealers.
There are three online systems and a locally installed Technical information package.
The online systems offer instant real time information and all common transactions can be
completed online, saving your business time and money.
The four systems are:
• Dealernet
• Global Parts Catalogue (GPC)
• Warranty system
• Technical USB
3. Dealernet
This is our main transactional system.
• Used for ordering, pricing, checking availability, viewing order
history, tracking deliveries, checking back order ETA’s
• Live, real time information.
• Large range of marketing material: price cards, brochures,
images, brochures and more
• Training material and pump calculator
• Technical support; Service bulletins, Safety and recall bulletins
• Links to warranty system
4. Dealernet Login
• The login page can be found at the very bottom of our public website
or here: https://dealernet.hondapowerequipment.co.nz/
• Each user should have their own login credentials, not shared
• User email address is user name
• Lost passwords can be reset by a user via the login page
• Users are notified of updated information and changes with pop up
messages
• Contact your Territory manager if you don’t have your own login
7. Global Parts Catalogue
• Link to login page on Dealernet or here: https://www.gpc.honda-gamma.com
• Used for looking up part numbers
• Global system, contains the entire worlds Honda Power Equipment models,
many different specifications and variants
• Essential to use serial numbers rather than model numbers
• Engine or frame serial numbers can be used with Honda complete built units
(CBU’s)
• One login per dealership (unlike Dealernet), up to 5 users simultaneously
• User names start with NZ000***
• Lost passwords can be reset on the login page
8. How to: Parts P & A - Connecting GPC and Dealernet
• Login to Dealernet and GPC on two different
browser tabs
• Look up GPC parts list with serial number
• Find parts required in GPC and add to GPC cart
• View GPC cart and highlight and then copy
(Ctrl+C) all parts including headers
• Paste (Ctrl+V) into the first box on the Dealernet
ordering page
9. Alternative Method of Parts Look up
• Top Parts: Published on the Dealernet
• Found under Info/Guides > Top Parts
• Downloadable PDF file showing pictures
of common service parts
• Searchable by model or description by
using the find function (Ctrl+F)
• Does not contain all parts
10. Warranty System
• Stock on floor- list of wholegoods with serial numbers you have purchased
from us that have not been registered as sold
• New Warranty – for registering a sale to a customer
• Existing warranties – products you have sold and registered
• New Claim – Submit a warranty claim
• Claims – shows status of claims made
• Owners – a list of your customers and any claims made
• Documentation – Warranty periods and terms and conditions. Also
contains instructions on registering products sold with stock on floor
• It is essential that products are registered at the time of sale with the
owners details and purchase date. Do this via “Stock on Floor” or
“New Warranty”
• Extended warranty may apply to registered products, a great
customer benefit. Check Documentation for terms.
11. Technical USB
• Supplied annually by Honda
• Expires after 12 months (calendar year)
• Installed on Windows computers only
• Contains region specific Service/Workshop manuals
for all Honda Power Equipment supplied in New
Zealand & Australia (not global)
• Can be loaded on multiple PC’s – no limit
• All staff should have it – not just technicians
• Honda manuals are the best in the industry!
