Title: Credit & Collection Manager
Reporting to: CFO
Role Purpose:
Manage Customers portfolio which includes customer financial risk analysis and asset
management. Primary objective is to reduce risk exposure, maximize receivable turnover and
minimize bad debt losses. Works to meet and achieve corporate growth objectives and corporate
working capital goal. Establishes and maintains a collaborative relationship with designated
business unit’s management and all levels of Archroma personnel. Credit concerns and risk
findings will be shared with the business unit management in order to evaluate future sales
approach.
Also was involved in the SAP data migration project that helped in the successful implementation
of the SAP system in Egypt.
Job Responsibilities;
1. Credit Management
• Establishes customer risk class and credit limit based on timely review of credit
application/information.
• Daily review, release or hold, as appropriate, of sales orders & approval of credit
requests.
• Extended credit privileges; includes dunning, calls, letter, emails or other
communication methods.
• Maintain & apply Archroma minimum credit management requirements.
• Calculating any associated loss provisions, reserves and bad debt write-off.
• Follow up Customers legal Cases.
• Forecast cash flow that help in positions, borrowing needs, and available funds for
investment
• Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements
• Maintain banking relationships
• Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control
over credit risk activities
2. Collection
• Managing a team of Money collectors to pursue the collection of ordinary trade
receivables from customers and work to eliminate over dues.
3. Account Receivable & cash forecasting Reporting
• Perform Monthly management, aging & overdue reporting for AR.
• Perform weekly cash flow forecast
