1. Are you trusting God. Without trust in God there is very little good that will be
manifested in your life. As the parable of the dishonest steward in the bible Luke chapter
16:1-18 the master of this steward found he was cheating. Not until the end when he used
the money to help him find favor with the people his master was dealing with did he
recognize the function of money. It is a tool to gain the things you need. It is not a master
in itself. When you see money as a means to get everything you wand and need in life
you are no longer serving God but you are serving man or as the bible puts it mammon.
Like the Isrealites, in the wilderness, who had to trust God each day for their provision
from heaven, manna, we are trust God for the provision for our needs to be met. When
we trust self we get tired and can’t keep up. When we trust money there is a time when
there is not enough to meet our need. When we trust people they fall short. Our trust
needs to be God. He never slumbers or sleeps. He never runs out of provision. He will
never let you down. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. To consistently get
provision from God we need to trust God for the least, money to be able to consistently
see the manifestation for the greater. This goes against everything I was taught so it must
be similar for most others. I am working this through as I study financial stewardship in
the bible.
