The author reflects on 2014, which brought the purchase of their family home and the start of kindergarten for their daughter Adalyn. Their son Emerson will start kindergarten in the fall. The author discusses starting their own mortgage company, Theriot Mortgage Group, after leaving their previous position at Veritex Bank, and thanks the reader for any referrals.

1. Dear Friends,
Wow! Can you believe we are already through January
in 2015!
The past year came fast and furious. 2014 brought
with it so many exciting things, with the pinnacle being
the purchase of my family home making me the third
George P Theriot to own the house, how cool is that!?
How wonderful for my three kids to run down the
same stairs Christmas morning that I did with my brother and sister. It holds so many wonderful
memories for me; I look forward to creating new ones with Megan and our children.
Adalyn (6) started kindergarten this year. She is in the dual language program and is doing
muy bueno!! She also enjoys dance and playing with Legos. Emerson (4) is getting ready for
kindergarten; she will start in the fall. She is most ready to be with her big sister! Emerson loves
music, crafts and playing with her dolls. Prescott (2) is becoming quite the character. He loves to
play ball and ride his Big Wheel. . . I’m afraid I may have a motor-cross kid on my hands?!
Megan and I are doing great. Megan is still working full time with Neiman Marcus as an Interior
Designer. When she is not working or taking care of the kids she enjoys planning our next home
project . . . my honey do list may never end. I continue to wake up at the crack of dawn for Cross
Fit, Do This!!! My goal for the year is to make it out on the golf course, my golf game is suffering.
Me? Last year was a great year with my venture at Veritex Bank, and it’s time to Grow Again!! I
will miss all of the people at Veritex Bank and will always be appreciative for everything they did
with me. I have decided to start my own branch, Theriot Mortgage Group, a branch of InterLinc
Mortgage Services, LLC which will allow me even more options to help you. I absolutely know
this is going to be a great move to continue to grow and provide the best service to you that I can
in the mortgage industry. After all, that’s what friends are for
