2. In the beginning, the Pencil
Maker spoke to the pencil
saying, There are five things
you need to know before I
send you out into the world.
Always remember them
and you will become the
best pencil you can be.
3. You will be able to
do many great
things, but only if
you allow yourself
to be held in
Someone's hand.
4. You will experience a
painful sharpening
from time to time, but
this is required if you
are to become a
better pencil.
9. Everyone of us
is like the
Pencil; we were
commissioned
by our Maker
and become the
best person we
can be.
10. We can do many
great things, as
long as we hold on
to God's hand. And
share our given
gifts and blessing
with others.
11. As we go about our
mission, we all
experience trials,
hardships and even
more painful are the
insults and
humiliations despite
our good intentions.
12. You and I have
our own
imperfections and
make mistakes
but our Maker
wants us to learn
our lessons and
mature through
them.
13. The most important part of you
will always be your feelings
and thoughts of goodwill.
14. And everywhere we go,
whomever we worked
with, let us leave a
“mark” to remember us
by. No matter what the
situation is, we must
continue to serve our
Maker in everything.
15. All of us are like pencils...
created by the Maker for a
unique and special purpose.
May your journey in this life be
meaningful!
20. NO ONE in the crowd really believed that the
tiny turtles would reach the top of the
tower.
You could hear statements such as:
"Oh, WAY too difficult!!”
“They will NEVER make it to the top“ and
"Not a chance that they will succeed.
The tower is too high!"
The tiny turtles began
collapsing. One by one...
21. ... except for those who, with a
final burst of energy, were
climbing higher
and higher...
The crowd continued to yell
"It is too difficult!!!
No one will make it!“
More tiny turtles got tired and
gave up...
23. At the end, everyone else
had given up climbing the
tower,
EXCEPT
for the one tiny turtle who, after
a big effort, was the only one
who reached the top!
THEN all the other tiny turtles
naturally wanted to know
how this one turtle
managed to do it.
24. A contestant asked a tiny turtle
how the one who
had
succeeded had found the
strength
to reach the goal
26. The wisdom of this story is:
NEVER listen to other people’s
inclinations to
be negative or pessimistic...
because they take your most wonderful
dreams
and wishes away from you –
the ones you have in your heart!
Always think of the power words have
because everything you hear and read will
affect your actions!
43. We can be like the eggs.
We start with a
soft and sensitive
heart.
We end up very hard
and unfeeling inside.
44. We become hard-
hearted.
The warm feeling is gone,
only bitterness remains.
We hate our job.
We don’t like our students.
45. We can be like the coffee beans.
The water does
not change the
coffee powder.
The coffee powder
changes the water!
46. The water has become different because of the
coffee powder.
You can see it.
You can smell it.
You can taste it.
The hotter the water, the better the taste.
47. We can be like the coffee beans.
We can make something good out of
the difficulties we face in school.
48. We have the knowledge, the
skills, and the abilities.
We have the potentials to change the lives
of our students for the better.
49. We can make our school a better place for
work and learning.
50. To succeed, we must try… and try again.
We must believe in what we are doing.
We must not give up.
We must be patient.
We must keep pushing.
handle with care
51. The problems and difficulties at school give us the
chance to become stronger… and tougher …and
better teachers.
52. What are we like when things
do not go well in school?
Are we like the carrots…
or the eggs…
or the coffee beans?
