Viva Network have launched an appeal for funds
following the Nepal Earthquake. Viva are working
to help children and families in Nepal – not just in
the immediate aftermath of the disaster, but also
in the months ahead. There is a further opportunity, for those who would
like, to give to Viva via the offering today. Please place your gift in an
envelope clearly marked for Viva’s Nepal appeal.
There is an Open the Book ‘Open Morning’ on Tuesday

June, 09:30 – 12:30 at The Guildry, St. Mary’s
Convent. This training morning will be led by Julie
Jeffries, Development and Training Officer, from
Bible Society Swindon. If you are interested and
would like to learn more about this project, you are
invited go along. It will be ‘a fun morning learning about a very successful

Cornerstone would like to raise funds to twin the toilets
at Cornerstone through http://www.toilettwinning.org
(an initiative of Cord and Tearfund). It costs £60 per
toilet and Cornerstone will receive a framed photo of
the twinned latrine to hang on the wall. If you would like
to contribute to this when you spend a penny, please
donate some money in the jar at the cash register.
