Niagara has a history of renewable energy production and an industrial base that can transition to green energy. A new initiative aims to provide job training for at-risk youth in Niagara through green energy projects like biomass production and contaminated land remediation. The initiative has several community partners supporting employment skills and social enterprise opportunities for youth.
