أبْرَامَ وَلُوط
- 1. Abraham and Lot Abraham left Egypt, along with his wife and Lot and all that they owned. وطُ لَ و َ امَ رْ أب ْ و َ ز َ عَ م ِ بَ قَّ الن ىَ لإ ٍ ر ْ صِ م ْ نِ م ُ امَ رْ أب َ جَ رَ خَ ف ،ِ يهَ دَ ل َ انَ ك اَ م ِّ ِ لُ كَ و ِ هِ تَ ج ا ً ضْ أي ٍ وطُ ل َ عَ مَ و .
- 2. But the land could not support both Abraham and Lot with all their flocks and herds living so close together. The shepherds of Abraham and Lot began to argue. َ و ِ ة َّ ضِ الفَ و ِ ةَ ي ِ اشَ المِ ب اًّ دِ ج اًّ يِ نَ غ ُ امَ رْ أب َ انَ كَ و ِ بَ هَّ الذ . ِ قِ افَ رُ مْ لا ٍ وطُ لِ ل َ انَ كَ و ً اضْ َي أ ٌ امَ يِ خَ و ٌ رَ قَ بَ و ٌ مَ نَ غ َ امَ رْ َبأل . ِ ب ْ تَ قا َ ضَ ف اَ مِ هِ الكْ َم أ ِ ةَ رْثَ كِ ل ُ ضْ َرألا اَ مِ ه ْ مَ لَ ف ً اعَ م اَ نُ ك ْ سَ ي ْ َن أ اَ رِ دْ قَ ي . َ عُ ر َ نْ يَ ب ٌ اعَ زِ ن َ ب َ شَ نَ و ي ِ اشَ وَ م ِ اةَ عُ رَ و َ امَ رْ َب أ ي ِ اشَ وَ م ِ اة ، ٍ وطُ ل .
- 3. Abraham said to Lot, “There should be no arguing between you and me or between your people and my people. We are all brothers. You can choose any place you want. If you go to the left, I will go to the right. If you go to the right, I will go to the left.” ٍ وطُ لِ ل ُ امَ رْ َب أ َ الَ قَ ف : « ُ نْ حَ ن اَ نَّ َنأل َ كِ اتَ عُ رَ و يِ اتَ عُ ر َ نْ يَ ب الَ و ،َ كَ نْ يَ بَ و يِ نْ يَ ب ٌ اعَ زِ ن ْ نُ كَ ي ال ِ انَ وَ َخ أ . َ تْ لَّ وَ حَ ت ْ نِ إَ و ،ً اينِ مَ ي اَ َن أ ْ هِ جَّتَ أ ،ً الاَ م ِ ش َ تْ هَ جَّتا ِ نِ إ ،ً اينِ مَ ي ً الاَ م ِ ش اَ َن أ ْ لَّ وَ حَ َت أ » .
- 4. Lot looked and saw the whole Jordan Valley. He saw that there was much water there. So Lot chose to live in the Jordan Valley. The two men separated, and Lot began traveling east. ْ ُرألا يِ ادَ و َّ أن أىَ رَ و ،ُ هَ لْ وَ ح ٌ طوُ ل َ رَ ظَ نَ ف َ رَ وغ ُ ص ىَّتَ ح ُ هَّ لُ ك ِِّ نُ د ِللا ِ ةَ قيِ دَ حَ ك ِ ةَ ايَ ق ِّ ِ الس ُ ن َ سَ ح . َ ارَ تْ اخَ و يِ ادَ و َّ لُ ك ِ ه ِ سْ فَ نِ ل ٌ طوُ ل ِِّ نُ دْ ُرألا . َ صَ فانَ و ،اً قْ ر َ ش ٌ طوُ ل َ لَ حَ تْ ارَ ف ِ رَ اآلخ ِ نَ ع اَ مُ هُ دَ أح َ ل .

Some time later, the LORD spoke to Abraham in a vision and said to him, “Do not be afraid, Abraham, for I will protect you, and your reward will be great.” َّ لَ ك ِ اثَ دْ األح ِ هِ ذَ ه َ دْ عَ ب اَ رْ أب ُللا َ م َ م اَ يْ ؤُ ر يِ ف : « َ ي ، ْ فَ خَ ت َ ال ُ امَ رْ أب ا . ُافأتَ كُ مَ و َ كُ سْ رُت اَ أنَ ف ُ ةَ يم ِ ظَ الع َ ك . »
- 6. Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
