In 2025, the Brazilian market is expected to grow to more than 210 million in population, which makes it one of the largest markets in Latin America. There will be more than 196 million mobile subscribers in which the penetration rate for smartphones reaches 88%. There are 4 major mobile operators in Brazil and the largest is Vivo -Telefonica Brazil with more than 60 million subscribers. Due to the pandemic in 2020, there is a slowdown in 5G adoption. Most of the network will still use 4G, but by 2025 5G will account for more than 17% of the total connections.
