2. Retailersagree to set aside nonperishable and
perishable products for donations to a Feeding
America member or a member agency.
Agencies associated with the program are
selected by the FB based upon the following
criteria:
•Location
•Schedule
•Quantity
•Distribution
3. Procedure:
Agency picks up on predetermined schedule.
Make sure the driver has identification
available.
Check in with the receiving clerk or manager
for donations from each department.
Gather product, weigh/collect, and
clear product with the clerk.
4. Equipment:
Use clean truck/van to pick up the product.
Utilize storage bins, pallets, or coolers to
transport the product.
Product Placement:
Separate product by category
and implement proper storage.
