The Lower East Side Community Partnership Program aims to strengthen families and support those at risk of foster care placement through neighborhood-based and inclusive efforts that bring together families, residents, volunteers, and community institutions. The program addresses the needs of struggling families, all families in the Lower East Side, and the whole community across age groups through various work groups focused on bridging gaps, conferencing, foster care support and recruitment, and visitation.
