• Alan Cork is a fisherman from the local area
who uses up his whole day doing what he
loves, fishing.
• Due to Alans mental state, he appears to be
one of the suspects of the murder case of
Lottie Wilson, due to both of them being in the
park at the same time
• Ben is playing Alan Cork because he has the
ability to convey the role of a fisherman. Ben
also has clothing at home which will help his
appearance in the show

3. Matthew Heyns
• Inspector Thorne, in our film opening is very
strict and likes everything to be in order. He
needs respect to be shown towards him from
the other characters.
• The inspector has the task of figuring out who is
guilty out of all the characters from the murder
case of Lottie Wilson
• Matt is playing Inspector Thorne because of his
confidence and he also has smart clothes, so his
role is easily conveyed.

4. Finn Hanley
• Kieran Tucker is a local lad from Walton who loves a
trip to the pub, however the knock on effect from this
is the fact he has been fired from his job recently, for
turning up drunk too often. Kieran dresses like a
football hooligan and speaks in a ‘chav’. He has
respect from a lot of the town due to his
appearances and persona at the pub.
• Kieran is a major suspect in the murder case due to
his past with Lottie. Kieran got cheated on by Lottie,
leading him to a criminal record from domestic
abuse
• Finn has been cast as Tucker, as he has the right
clothing already for him to dress like a hooligan. He
can also put on an accent in front of the camera
which helps with his characters persona.

5. Sam de Bruin Herbert Crafts
• Herbert Crafts is business man who commutes to
the city for work. He is very dapper and posh and
wears tailored suits.
• Herbert is the guilty man in the film opening due
to difficulties between pay rises between Lottie
and Herbert, leading him to take action on her.
• Sam has been cast as Herbert Crafts due to his
confidence and he also has smart clothing in
order for him to play a posh businessman.
