The Last Call “The Mighty Shofar!”
Are you ready for this study of the Mighty Shofar?
Prepare your heart and let’s see what YHVH has in
store for us as we come closer to the Day of the
Return of Yeshua!
Dictionary definition of the Shofar: a rams-horn used
by ancient Israel in religious ceremonies and as a
battle signal, now sounded at Rosh Hashanah and
Yom Kippur.
I’m not sure what your experience with the shofar is
but I can tell you that every time I blow the Shofar, it
penetrates my DNA and cleanses me on a spiritual
level. I have seen it also drive some people intensely
angry, sickly, at peace, brought people to their knees
crying, brought intense restful sleep. There are some
who use it to heal people as well. It truly is an
amazing spiritual weapon.
Top 7 reasons for the
blowing of the Shofar
• (1) The shofar is a reminder of the time When Yahuah is calling
His people to be prepared to listen and obey His
Commandments. They were to cleanse themselves for 3 days
before the giving of the 10. Exodus 19:16-19 “And it came to
be on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders
and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain. And a
voice of a shophar was very strong, and all the people who
were in the camp trembled….And when a voice of the
shophar sounded long and became very strong, Mosheh
spoke, and Elohim answered him by voice.“
• The Shema is what Hebrews recite as a reminder to listen
and obey YHVH, the shofar is blown right afterwards. Hear,
O Israel, the L-rd is our G-d, the L-rd is One. Blessed be the
name of the glory of His kingdom forever and ever. You shall
love the L-rd your G-d with all your heart, with all your soul,
and with all your might. (shortened version)
* (2) The shofar will be blown to announce the Day of YHVH “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy
mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand”. I highly
encourage you to read through the Book of Joel. For those who have a hard heart against our Creator, it will not end
well.
* YHVH is calling ALL people from ALL the Nations to prepare to give an account of their deeds. Joel 2: 12-13 “Therefore also now,
saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to
anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.” Perhaps with the days becoming more evil, we should fast
and ask reflect on where we need to change in our lives.
* (3) The 2nd Exodus: Isaiah 27:13 and Matthew 24: 30-33 And
then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall
all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man
coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they
shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of
heaven to the other.
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and
putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is
near, even at the doors.
• The blowing of the Shofar is a reminder of a time when Yeshua will
gather the remnant who survived Jacob’s trouble during the Great
tribulation from all corners of the Earth.
• Various end-time prophecies show that a trumpet precedes the Day
of the Lord (Joel 2:1; Zechariah 9:14-16), when Jesus Christ returns
as King of kings and overthrows the nations of this world,
establishing the Kingdom of God on earth. Thessalonians 4:16).
While the book of Revelation tells of seven trumpets (Revelation
8:2—11:15), when the last one sounds, "the kingdoms of this world
have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He
shall reign forever and ever!" (Revelation 11:15), indicating He has
returned. This all shows that the timing of the Second Exodus in
general corresponds to the return of Christ. (David C. Grabbe)
* (4) Spiritual Warfare: Whenever I am doing well with my
Creator and I blow the Shofar, I get this feeling of a lion ready to
fight spiritually, physically, and mentally. Numbers 10:9 explains
that we shall be saved from our enemies. Just the other day as I
blew it in public a brother said “Oh that gave me the chills in
the right way, I feel the energy of Yahweh in me.”
* I’m not going to go into detail here and you can check this for
yourself, but in the book of Enoch it explains that the demons
that roam the earth today are none other than the spirits of the
fallen giants from the flood of Noah and afterwards.
* When the Hebrews would go into battle with the Giants they
would blow the Shofar and even out the odds so to speak. The
frequencies of the Shofar did something to make the Giants
slower, sick, and unfocused. This is why the demons today hate
the sound of the Shofar because they hated it when they were
in their physical bodies as the Giants of old. Exorcists are now
using the Shofar as a weapon when helping people get rid of
demons, and they well should. If it worked back then, it would
work now as well.
* I highly suggest you go out and buy yourself one either on
Ebay or go to a local Judaic gift store. They should cost around $
150.00 on Ebay, but if you go to a store you will pay double the
price.
* Other Biblical scriptures: Nehemiah 4:16-20, Job 39: 24-25
• (5) The Watchman uses the Shofar to warn the people of the
enemy approaching.
• Ezekiel 33:1-6 And the word of the Yahuah came to me, saying,
“Son of man, speak to the sons of your people and say to
them, ‘If I bring a sword upon a land, and the people of the
land take one man from among them and make him their
watchman, and he sees the sword coming upon the land and
blows on the trumpet and warns the people, then he who
hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning,
and a sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his
own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet but did not take
warning; his blood will be on himself. But had he taken
warning, he would have delivered his life. But if the watchman
sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet and the
people are not warned, and a sword comes and takes a person
from them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will
require from the watchman’s hand.’
• How many Watchmen today are sounding the Shofar and
warning of the impending doom that is coming upon us
because we have strayed from the Ten Commandments?
Hosea 8:1 Put the trumpet to your lips! Like an eagle the
enemy comes against the house of the YHVH, because they
have transgressed My covenant and rebelled against My Law.
What is your role in YHVH’s Army? Are
you a Watchman/woman? If you are,
how are you sounding the alarm getting
the people of Yah ready?
• (6) The Signaling of Rosh Hashanah and the Ten days
of Atonement. In Leviticus 23: 23-25, the Lord
establishes the Day of Trumpets (or the Feast of
Trumpets):
• And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the
people of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the
first day of the month, you shall observe a day of
solemn rest, a memorial proclaimed with blast of
trumpets, a holy convocation. You shall not do any
ordinary work, and you shall present a food offering
to the LORD.”
• The great theme of Rosh Hashanah is repentance,
and the overarching theme of the high holiday
season is forgiveness. The first day of Rosh Hashanah
begins a ten-day season of repentance, often called
the Ten Days of Awe by the Jewish people. These ten
days conclude with the observance of the Day of
Atonement.
• In my humble opinion Our Creator set Ten Days
between these feasts so we can reflect on the Ten
Commandments and how we are observing them or
faltering in them. Every time I come across the
number Ten in the Hebrew Bible I believe YHVH is
guiding us back to the Ten.
• (7) The call to Physical Warfare: The Shofar is a call for the Hebrews to get ready to fight against their enemies.
• 2 Chronicles 13:14-15 When Judah turned around, behold, they were attacked both front and rear; so they cried to the
Lord, and the priests blew the trumpets. Then the men of Judah raised a war cry, and when the men of Judah raised the
war cry, then it was that God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.
• Jeremiah 4:19-21 My soul, my soul! I am in anguish! Oh, my heart! My heart is pounding in me; I cannot be silent, because
you have heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, The alarm of war. Disaster on disaster is proclaimed, For the whole
land is devastated; Suddenly my tents are devastated, My curtains in an instant. How long must I see the standard, and
hear the sound of the trumpet?
• During the Tribulation Satan will go to war against the saints of the Most High. Shall we just put our tail in between our legs
and get a good whipping? Let’s see what the Bible says then use our logic. Revelation 13:7 And it was given unto him
to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and
tongues, and nations.
• There you have it, there will be WAR between Satan and the Saints, dare I say it will be physical? Pretty sure it will be
kinetic and spiritual. I will tell you first hand if I am involved in this fight I will be in the front blowing the Shofar and
waging physical and spiritual WARFARE against the enemies of YHVH.
• Final thoughts: I have outlined ONLY 7 of the ways the
Shofar is used or symbolized. Here is a list of some of the
other uses or symbolic uses of it:
• A symbol of the ram that was sacrificed in the place of
Isaac, a reminder of the prophets warnings calling the
people back to the Commandments of YHVH, used during
the coronation of a King (foreshadows the coming of
Yeshua), represents the shout of Yah’s victory over the
power of sin and death, called the 1st Trump of YHVH in
Exodus 19:16/Shavout, sounds alarms, convene
assemblies, announces a new moon, and I am sure there
are a few more that I missed.
• I highly encourage you before time runs out and you are
unable to get a Shofar to please GET ONE ASAP! It is a
powerful weapon that the enemy hates and our Creator
Loves. It will reconfigure your DNA and help you to walk in
the Commandments as I can only from experience.
• Be blessed and walk in the strength of YHVH. Psalms 71:16
I will go in the strength of YHVH: I will make mention of
thy righteousness, even of thine only.
