Journalism is a major I have great passion for and will help me open up to the world. Journalism gives me a chance
to explore the news that is happening around me. Communicating, reporting, writing, editing, and research ing is a
career work that I want to purse in my future and achieve successfully.
I want my future journalism career to start off as having a chance to work as an intern position this summer at abc7
news. I am efficient, can work on a deadline, and have an eye for detail. I am a very organized and hard worker who

I have written many new stories on various events that happened in Chicago recently, and interviewed people for my
stories.One story I wrote about was a profile on Chicago Teacher’s Union and the one day strike they held on
Friday, April 1 causing all Chicago Public Schools to be closed.
