of the welfare state to reduce taxes)
4. Green Funds
The green economy, a form of
innovation to improve
competitiveness (3)
Improving competitiveness through green
economy can come from:
1. Cost reduction (energy, water, waste, raw
materials, land ...)
2. Added value. Differentiation and
increasing the added value of our products
and services.
5. Green Funds
What is Green?
Green isn´t just about environment.
It also represents a way of seeing how
business is done.
Green is a way of seeing a business through
a new lens
–a lens that can bring both risks and
opportunities into focus-

maximize simultaneously both financial

otherwise the whole Green concept
wouldn’t be sustainable on the long
term.

Green Investment (2)
Investing in environmental performance is not
just a good idea, it is also a manager’s and
also an investor’s fiduciary duty, as well as a
kind of financial responsibility for all the
stakeholders

Green Investment (3)
USA: investing in Green buildings has
begun to attract considerable attention
as a form of socially responsible
property investing (SRPI) as well as
from real estate investment trusts
(REITs) that invest to at least some
degree in Green buildings.

The real challenge to deploy a
successful Green Strategy
The only way to universalize changes
on individual and companies' behaviors
is to demonstrate that these changes
give benefits for them, not only in a long
term and for global humanity, but also in
short and medium term and for the
direct promoters of these changes
