Ethan: Hi Commish, Mrs. Commish,
family and friends. Thank you for the
opportunity to represent our 52,000, our
Scouts, Explorers and volunteers.
I am here with our Chairman of the
Board Barry Williams. Hi Barry.
Barry: Commissioner, we extend our
2. deep appreciation for your untiring
support to youth in local Scouting. From
camping with kids at Fort McHenry, to
speaking to those who work in the city
about volunteering in the city…
Ethan: Fred, your frequent energy to
help us make it easier for city volunteers
to cut thru difficulty to do what they do
best here in urban America.
Barry: your confidence in us, helped
organize 10 new Cub Scout Packs in
targeted neighborhoods with 12 more
forming this year.
3. Ethan: Bottomline…I think all of us in
this room know you are willing to take
the shirt of your back to help others.
Barry: So…we want to take these two
shirts off our back in honor of you. We
hope you enjoy, with our compliments,
these Under Armour Baltimore Area
Council Scout Action Uniform Shirts…
the program is brand new. Kids of all
ages really seems to like them, we hope
you do too.
Ethan: Oh by the way, the Scouts look
forward to camping with you at Oregon
