1. Enlightenment Prison
April 30, 2020
Light my fire! ‘I’m enlightened’ has become a favorite
assertion of those who get a little whiff of spiritual
acumen nonsense in the past few decades. If one’s talk
can’t be measured in provable action and walking the talk, it’s superfluous and a silent
entrapment that will not be easy to get out of especially when you realize that it was a mistake
to think you have reached the highest peak of a word that is like a blind man in a dark house
with no windows looking for a black cat that isn’t even there.
Spirituality is a way of life. It is more about “being” rather than “doing”. It is being loving and
caring; going the extra mile to assist someone. It is giving hope to others in times of distress. It
is about putting others before you (yet not neglecting the self). It is helping to build others’ faith
and positive outlook. It is about self-realization, and living from your inner core; your divinity. It
is serving, respecting and loving God’s creations. It is living a life of gratitude and faith.
Focus on what you are here to give, not receive. Be humble, forgiving, grateful, trustworthy,
and make the world a better place. Give freely; live lovingly, joyfully and peacefully. Think
positively, see the good in everyone, live life to the max, remember God, practice the
philosophy of the positive holy scriptures and only then can you
profess spirituality! Friends, I would like to
suggest that we focus more on being
spiritual than on following man-made
religion. You decide what works for you
and what will lead you to self-realization.
I’m on your side!
A few years ago, after hearing ‘I’m
enlightened’ from many in the ‘spiritual
circles’ who didn’t seem any more
authentic than a ‘snake oil salesman’, I
came up with a word more measurable
from one’s experience called ‘lovelightenment’ which in rare lives
comes when two people journey together in total heart and mind unison. That ‘journey’
eliminated all of those who professed ‘enlightenment’, and had so far missed that rare Devine
love happening. Knowing how to love and doing it where all disappears except for the deep
feeling of love is an ecstasy that reverberates for all life and beyond. Be a clear mirror to each
other where love doesn’t even need be said.
We are not human beings having a spiritual experience…We are spiritual beings having a
human experience. If you stand for a reason, be prepared to stand like a tree, If you fall on the
ground, fall as a seed.. that grows back ..to fight again. Beyond the love within is finding a new
kind of love as the air we breath, keeping all life as steps to a heaven-like journey.
