SaskPower presented at several international conferences on water treatment and power plant operations between 2009 and 2012. Presentations included discussions of using granular activated carbon to remove organics from distillate water at a power plant, an anti-scaling method for cooling tower operations, and using reverse osmosis, organic traps and carbon filters to remove organics from a distillate stream at a zero-liquid discharge power plant.
