Helpers) incommunication skills,andhowto solve situationsin an unprepared
manner,whenconsultedby a student.
9. HIV counselling& Testing( HTC) Outdoor Programme
Fundamental purpose of (HTC) was to train PeerHelpersonaddressing
clients(students),afterHIVtesting,promotinga healthy life for infectedanduninfected
clients(students).

1. Colleagues are prohibited to take office equipment’s to
households, or personal gain.
2. Confidentiality between client and consultants when sharing
information it is vitally important.
13. 3. Sense of smart wear, which is presentable to clients and
colleagues during work hours.
4. Communication should be based in commonly used language
,and clean,non vulgar language during communication.
5. Punctuality during arrival and departure at work environment
should be strictly obeyed.
6. Listening carefully when client off-loads information, and
avoiding interruptions, make sure you give client comfortable
space ,also avoid giving client wrong social interactive
message (don’t date clients).
7. Limitation of noise within the office /or work environment
,”to avoid disruptions”.
