I am very proud and pleased to inform you that you have met the qualifications for
induction into the Eta Sigma Delta (ESD) hospitality education honor society. This
recognition of your academic achievement during your hospitality university
education is a testament to your hard work and significant accomplishments.

Attached to this message is the ESD application form. To join the society and to
participate in the induction ceremony during the afternoon of Sunday, October
25th, you would need to complete the attached application and submit it to the SHL
main office along with a check for the $35 induction fee. Please RSVP by October
10th so that we can plan accordingly for the event.
During the induction ceremony, you will be given a personalized membership
certificate, honor cords to wear with your graduation gown, and a membership pin
to wear on your clothing as a visible mark of distinction.
To share this honor, you may invite up to two (2) guests. When submitting your
application to our SHL office, please inform us of your planned number of guests so
that we can ensure accommodations for everyone (the room does have a capacity
limit). Again, please RSVP by submitting the form and your check by October 10th.
