I appreciate the subtlety of red lips, and the impact it
has on viewers. I think red lipstick on the front cover
would make the magazine seem more appealing.
I believe that natural make-up will have its place in my
magazine as it will feature a more natural looking
artist.
The more extravagant make-up would fit an alternative fashionable style. I especially like the doll makeup for this
as it achieves a sense of obscurity with subtlety.

3. Costume
For my more natural artist I believe that a
regular band shirt and flannel shirt over the top
will add to the casual style of the artist.

My indie artist will most likely wear a black
leather jacket and a black and white shirt;
perhaps a band shirt.
I felt that for my ethereal pop artist a more girly
costume would suffice and so a floral dress
would be perfect to contrast with a more
futuristic style of music.
To befit the style of a circus performer I felt that
a circus costume would be necessary.
Therefore my model shall be wearing striped
black and whit tights and a leotard.

4. Hair

To fit the floral costume idea, I
believe that casual 50s hairstyles will
work well. This style is girly but
sophisticated. I believe that it
contrasts nice as the music is
somewhat futuristic but the style is
more retro.
Other artists
For the other artists I feel that a
more natural, casual style will
fit. This is due to the nature of
the genres, all of them tending
to be naturalistic in style.
