• 25% of the world’s energy is provided by coal.
• In Turkey, 3% of the coal production consists
of anthracite, 97% is lignite/brown coal.

• Many people die in mine accidents in the
world every year.
• In Turkey 2554 workers died because of mine
accidents or mine illnesses and 13087 had to
stop work permanently between 1991-2008
(SGK Statistics).
• Sadly, Turkey is the leading country in mining
deaths in the World (TEPAV).

6. HOW DOES IT WORK?
• You enter the coordinates (x-y) and it directly
goes there.
• It can be remote controlled as it has the
camera.
• It works with diesel or electric generator.

7. WHY MINEBOT?
• It replaces most of the human work in mines,
therefore deaths.
• It can be big or small for different places.

8. • It can also be used right after the accidents to
reach the trapped miners by carrying oxygen
masks, first-aid kits, communication devices
etc.
