2. Briefing
My main aim is to introduce new younger
audiences aged from 18-30 through engagement
and physical presence within the location of the
Jurassic coast.
Bringing together artists from across the world
along with UK based film enthusiasts to reveal
hidden landscapes using the lenses of art and
technology.

4. The idea
“Nero Fos” is the name of my project, translated
from the Greek words meaning “Water Light”.
The fascinating combination of water and light
projected on to a screen based in the sea will
attract a large audience due to it’s complexity and
uniqueness.

8. Basically..
The principle of the water screen system is to push
water in an upward motion from the ground in a
relatively flat spray. This gives a surface that we
can be projected onto using high-power video
projectors.
9. Why?
The reason for such an extravagant idea is due to
the increasingly obstinate, modern day audience
that will only leave their houses for major events or
social gatherings.
With this idea I plan to embrace both.

11. How?
It would take a matter of six months to a year in
order for appropriate research of all aspects and
to create the project itself.
The cost of the “Nero Fos” would range between
£1000 - £5000 depending on the quality of
equipment used.
