Day 1 - Arrival at Caracas Airport Edgar or his assistant picks the guests up personally at airport. And takes you to the local
- Transfer to La Parada Hotel hotel for dinner and comfortable rest.
Day 2 - Domestic flight towards Barinas Airport. Early in the morning the guests take a domestic flight towards the town of Barinas.
- Transfer to los LLanos Camp. A 4x4 transport will be waiting there. (if Edgar did not pick you up in Caracas he will be
- Lunch. waiting for you in this airport)
- Boat Safari on Guaritico River. Next, a 3 hrs comfortable ride into the beautiful ecosystems of the venezuelan high and
- Dinner low Llanos. On the road the guest will be served meat on stick, a typical meal of the
Venezuelan Llanero (vegetarians are also welcome)
In the afternoon a nice boat ride on the Guaritico river to witness the enchanting of the
llanos gallery forest. (Accommodation Camp style, modest yet comfortable, the guests
sleep on hammocks and beds can be provided)
Day 3 - Breakfast After a typical breakfast the guest will enjoy the search, capture and release of the local
- Anaconda Search anaconda. The afternoon will be spent fishing for piranhas until dusk and then continue on
- Lunch a night safari searching for different nocturnal creatures and other reptiles. Good
- Piranha Fishing opportunity for catching, marking and releasing a Spectacled Caiman.

Day 4 - Breakfast The day begins after a light breakfast to go on a horse ride on the plains. Then a nice
- Horse ride lunch in preparation for the trip in to the Andes. The entrance of the Andes through the

Day 5 - Breakfast The mucubaji lake, located at 3400 mts is one of the most iconic lakes in Merida. In
- Mucubaji Lake, Mifafi. here the guest will go on a nice walk to the Black Lake. After this, we’ll visit the
- Lunch area known as Mifafi and enjoy the one of the nicest views that the Venezuelan
- Merida City Tour. Andes has to offer. All these within the most beautiful and amazing bio-diversity
- Arrival at La Bravera posada spread all over the tropical Andes. In the afternoon the crew will visit the city of
- Dinner Merida and enjoy a city tour of one Venezuela’s most beautiful and cultured cities.
From here, a 55 km road to a Bravera posada, a small hostel located in the heart of
the north face of the Andes (Nice comfortable accommodation on double rooms)
Day 6 - Breakfast A morning walk takes the guest into the mid-range cloud forest and its beautiful
- Morning walk wildlife. La Bravera is a paradise for the guest and it is place specialized in
- Lunch Hummingbirds or Colibri (Spanish Name). from here we go to have a nice lunch in
- Boat Safari Concha River la azulita and visit this beautiful and special town. In the afternooon we’ll arrive in
- Dinner the town of Puerto Concha and go on a boat safari on the concha river. We spend
- Night Boat Safari the night on a palafito located at the south of Maracaibo Lake. The palafito belongs
- Catatumbo Lightning to the park rangers and it is the best place to watch the lightning of Catatumbo.

Day 7 - Transfer to International Airport el Vigia. Early in the morning a transfer to the International airport of El vigia for a morning
- Domestic flight to caracas / International flight to cararcas and international connections.

These cities will only serve as transit locations between
airports. In Caracas the National and International Airports
are one next to the other. So on the day of departure the
guest will only have to walk a few hundred meters from one

Los Llanos is among the most beautiful ecosystems in Venezuela. It covers almost half of the country and its wild life is indeed diverse
and incredible. Nothing in this trip is prepared or staged. The animals are found in the wild and you get the chance to see them very
close and learn about them. A 3-hour ride from Barinas takes you into the heart of los Llanos to visit a camp called Los Mangos. Three

North America. in here, we’ll visit the Posada La Bravera, this little hotel located in the center of the cloud forest, is the perfect spot for
seeing hummingbirds or Colibri. It is a hummingbird’s paradise. These little birds only exist in the American continent and La Azulita has
more than 50 species of them.

- Edgar studied Linguistics in England for three years and Modern Languages and Linguistics for seven more years in the University of
Los Andes.
- He has already worked with Abenteuerteam in the past. For three years he guided or help guiding over 35 groups from
Abenteuerteam.
- He has worked with VIP tourism for over 10 years and now works in the area of Specialized Tourism and Advance Interpretative
Touristic Guiding. He is a consultant for the development of responsible Social Based Tourism in rural areas., in order to help the
people of the country’s poorest areas.
- He’s also a filmmaker and professional photographer and he’s currently filming a 13 episode documentary series on Birds of
Venezuela for National Television.
- Last October he worked with Pilgrim Films and Discovery Channel USA as a consultant in survival techniques as well as wildlife
interpretation and understanding.
- In March 2011 He appeared on Discovery Channel nationwide on a show called “Out of the Wild” in the U.S. teaching survival
techniques and reptile’s handling.
