Ritz manager restores lost wedding ring and saves anniversary

To whom it may concern:
For our 15th wedding anniversary my wife and I chose to stay at
the Ritz in Orlando on February 21, 2015. I met Mr. Ed
McDonald Jr. when I requested a manager to speak with
concerning the concierge not returning my call a few days
before. I explained that this was a very important occasion for
my wife, Addy and myself. Mr. McDonald apologized and
without hesitation upgraded our room and made sure that guest
services surprise (a bottle of champagne and chocolates) were
sent to the new room that night. My wife and I had a very
special weekend. I realized 2 hours after checking out of the
Ritz that I had left my platinum wedding band in the room. This
for a lot of sentimental reasons was devastating to us. I called Mr.
McDonald and explained the situation to him. He called me back
about 15 minutes later and told me he had found the ring and due
to the great sentimental importance offered to drive out to meet
me after his shift ended at 8:30 at a suitable location closer to my
house. I was and still am completely blown away by this gesture. I
would not have been able to make the drive to the Ritz that night,
but Mr. McDonald knowing the importance of the situation
offered on his own time and dime to drive out to deliver the ring
to me. I am extremely touched and impressed that someone in
this day and age would offer this type of customer service on so
many levels. Mr. McDonald is an extremely valuable asset to the
Ritz as well as a wonderful human being. I can't thank him
enough. Thank you Mr. McDonald!!!!! Please feel free to contact
