3. MANAGERIAL TOOLS AND CONCEPTS USED

478-01-9 Communication Email Communication via Google Sites and in meetings is evident. Didn't see a lot of
communication outside of those tools. Google Docs is really good for collaboration
through the feedback function and provides a record of activity. Other collaborative
tools such as Google Groups (and others) make it easier to document conversations.
Also, "conversation mode" in G-Mail helps create a thread. May want to consider
learning how to use collaborative tools in your workplace. Worth checking into!
478-01-9 Meeting Agendas Meetings occurred and business was dispensed with in an orderly fashion. Good job!
478-01-9 Meeting Minutes Good organization to meeting and record keeping.
478-01-9 Member Development Personality Test Personality tests and information on team members' skills were collected. Didn't see,
though, how they may have been used to make task assignments or to assign team roles.
478-01-9 Performance Evaluation and Feedback I thought the team evaluation posted by Aaron was good. I didn't see individual or peer
evaluation. Additionally, evaluations should include a "developmental" component to
help individuals better understand the areas where they need to improve -- without
feeling like they are being evaluated or judged. Finally, evaluations should be linked
across team and team members’ goals.
478-01-9 Project Document Repository Using Google Sites as a place to manage and share work was a good decision.
478-01-9 Project Management Site Google Sites Created a project work site -- and used it for communication. Good job! For future
reference (not for this project), please note that there are other tools out there that have
greater functionality than Google Sites and will be helpful to you in the workplace. I'd
look at those when you have time.

478-01-9 Task Assignment List Use of checklist initially was a good way to help begin the team development process.
478-01-9 Team Charter Good document. Concise and comprehensive at the same time. Good job!

478-01-9 Team SOPs SOP document exists and SOPs are included in the charter. Team appears to have
followed procedures as outlined.
4. LEADERSHIP TOOLS AND CONCEPTS USED
478-01-9 Communication I know there was communication in multiple ways. I didn’t see the amount of communication I saw in
other groups’ submissions (e.g., email threads, copies of posts in Google Group forums, etc.). If I
missed it, let me know.
