2. Soldiers could be soon using an actual Iron Man suit
Earlier this month, the Wall Street Journal reported that Oscar-nominated
design studio Legacy Effects has been tasked by
the United States government to help build a real-life Iron Man
suit for the military.
Other developers hired by the Military for the project, officially
titled the TALOS (Tactical Assault Light Operator suit), include
a Canadian company that is studying how sumo wrestlers fight
whilst carrying so much weight.

3. How did Hollywood impact the Iron Man suit?
Academy Award nominated Legacy Effects produced special
effects for the Iron Man 2 and Iron Man 3 films, primarily the
construction of the Iron Man suit.
They have been specifically hired to advise on the design of
the body armour of the Iron Man suit which is "daunting,"
according to Lindsay MacGowan, co-founder of Legacy
Effects.

4. Expected features of the suit
Whilst this project will not inevitably result in an Iron Man suit
derived from the movie franchise, the military’s Iron Man suit
will be seeking to deliver certain similar aspects.
