WHY DID YOU TAKE THE CRMUG ACADEMY BLACK BELT
COURSE AND WHAT WAS THE EXPERIENCE LIKE?
I attended the Blue and Purple Belt Academy classes at Summit 2016 and was very
impressed with the information presented. We are in the process of implementing CRM
Online (after moving from CRM 4) and I wanted to learn best practices and tips to share
with my team. I felt that the Black Belt series would accomplish this goal and help our
team better implement and support CRM Online.
WHAT WERE YOUR TOP THREE LEARNINGS FROM
THE CRMUG ACADEMY BLACK BELT TRAINING?
1. Customization, specifically how robust CRM is now without even using JavaScript or
plugins.
2. Reporting and using dashboards in CRM to provide up to date information to users.
3. Security, how to implement hierarchy and positional security and build upon the
security model within CRM.
WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THE BLACK BELT SERIES TO
OTHER CRM PROFESSIONALS? AND IF SO, WHAT WILL
OTHERS IN YOUR JOB ROLE GAIN FROM THE PROGRAM?
I would highly recommend the series to anyone who is working with Dynamics CRM. I
was able to use information that I learned right away and my company received an
immediate return on investment from the course. Any team that is working on
Dynamics CRM would increasing the value to their business users and have a greater
understanding of what you can do with Dynamics CRM and how to create and manage
solutions.
