Dr. MarshallMorris is currentlyfacilitating a
new pilot course; “math foundations” at Rio
SaladoCommunity Colleges that helps adult
students overcome academiclearning
barriersinthe areasof mathematicsand
grammar. Heis known by his colleagues
for his simple “backtothe basics” practical
approach toteaching business, economics, and mathematical
concepts.
Dr. Morrishas over ten years of businessmanagement experience in
operationsmanagement for major retailerssuch as McDonald’s
Corporation, Fry’s food, and Albertsons. He specializesin turnaround
management, enabling organizationstoincreaserevenue and
profitability. Oneof his corecompetenciesisthe development of
personnel through his fundamentalapproachtoteaching complex
businessconcepts.
Passionateabout communityservice and an advocatefor education,
Dr. Morris has taught businessand economicsclassesto under
privileged high school studentsfor MissionCharter and Southwest
Leadership Academy. He also spends timevolunteering for the
SanctuaryCommunityChurch, wherehe helps feed and clothethe
homeless. Additionally, he recently beginvolunteering for the United
Way, to assist at-riskhigh school freshmanachieveacademicsuccess.
Dr. Morrisreceived his Doctorateof Business Administration degree
with an emphasisin managementfrom ArgosyUniversity. He also
holds a Mastersin Business Administrationwith a concentrationin
financefrom ArgosyUniversity. He earned his BachelorsDegree in
ReligiousStudiesfrom Southwest ChristianCollege.
He, his wife of five yearsand four childrenreside in Avondale,
Arizona.
