Sustainability has become a growing focus for many educators and practitioners in the
visual arts, with many addressing sustainability from a variety of angles. This year’s iJADE
conference addresses the subject of sustainability in the context of art and design education
and its practices and invites papers that investigate this topic. The following may serve as
