Study Site
⮚The study sites will be in SDO-CSFP wherein the
study samples will be randomly selected from
government schools.
Sampling
⮚ Multi-stage random sampling technique
⮚ List of students per school who will participate in
the assessment will be randomly selected
⮚ Sample size calculator will be utilized with a
margin of error set at 5% and 95% level of
confidence
⮚ Modified Learner Enrollment and Survey Form
School Year 2021-2022 (K-12) (learners who
have access to internet)
3. Inclusion/Exclusion criteria
The set of study samples will compose of male and female students from public
schools in SDO-CSFP. Only students who are currently enrolled will be included in
the study. Furthermore, students with no personal and/or parental consent will not be
allowed to participate in the study.
Ethical considerations
In this study, the participants’ welfare will be the topmost priority. Their participation is
voluntary. Personal and parental consent particularly those participants of minor
age will be solicited. All information obtained in this study will also be treated with
strict confidentiality and that the identity of the participants and the names of
schools where they are studying will be anonymous. Minimal risk such as little
discomfort in answering the questions was also identified in the study. Participants
are also free to withdraw anytime in the study and that their non-participation will
not in any affect their grades or school performance.
