Dr.Suryawanshi Dnyaneshwar Shivaji worked as Director & Professor of Department of Adult,
Continuing Education & Extension Services, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon
(Maharashtra) India. He is well known Geographer in India. He had been completed eight
research projects on various topics funded by UGC,ICSSR,VCRMS,SSC & HSC Board,
Balbharati and twelve students have completed M.Phil./Ph.D. under his guidance. He was
visited abroad to South Korea and Malaysia for International conferences. Suryawanshi has been
published thirty seven papers in Referred with I/F journal, Fifty seven papers in non referred
journal, Seventeen papers in Proceeding, Nine Chapters in books & Sixteen Books on different
innovative field of Geography. He received Young social scientist award from ICSSR New
Delhi, IIAS Associate ship from Shimla, Travel Grants awards from American science
foundation, Young Geographer award from MBP Pune and Best N.S.S. programme officer from
NMU Jalgaon. He is life member of IIRS, Deccan Geographer, NAGI, NGS, MBP & Punjab
Geographer. He had completed certificate course of RS and GIS at Dehradun.
