I am an Associate Professor at the Department of Biostatistics of the Erasmus University Medical Center in the Netherlands. I received an M.Sc. in statistics (2003) from the Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Ph.D. in biostatistics (2008) from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. I wrote my dissertation, as well as a number of methodological articles on various aspects of joint models for longitudinal and time-to-event data, and I am the author of the first book on this topic published by Chapman & Hall/CRC (http://jmr.r-forge.r-project.org/).
