Below I have summarized what we have done as a team and documented our progress:
1. Agreement between sponsor and Project Manager was done for our team by professor/TA/other
2. Purpose: Identify possible applications for the Radiobot 1.0 Cognitive communications.
We research official and unofficial possible customers that could have use for this advanced technology. As result
of our research, we focused on three different opportunities:
• Satellite Collision Avoidance – traffic Management
o We looked not only in the information we found online, but based on some of our work
experience, we were able to extract some possible use for this technology.
• 5G implementation
o This was mentioned in some material that was made available to us and found videos and public
information about it. Even though it is something that seems to be already developed, we felt it
was a viable way to utilize it.
• Underground communication
o I personally offered this option after a Geology class I had to take a couple of years back, and I
though this type of technology could offer some service. Initially I mentioned the bottom of the
ocean crude mining, and we were made aware it was not something that could be explored.
o Based on that, I continued to do more research and found out that ground level mining has use
for the technology. Since the idea is to be able to capture signals at great distances, coded RFs
etc., this technology then would be a great way to improve the already existing communication
mining already has.
Scope Expectations:
These were developed more focused on the material we would present to the customer than at a project level in
my opinion and always based on my experience at LANL with Project Controls and Estimating.
Goals:
The team’s goal is to find or create various market opportunities that can be utilized by Bluecom to expand their
customer base as well as understand the trends and needs of the market. More granular goals are found in the
Primavera P6 and resulting WBS.
Timeline:
We developed all our material according to the instructions given to us in order to produce a Project Casebook
That contains all our research and efforts.
2. We have worked all together and focuses on different sections of the project individually to maximize the results
based on our skills. Rajina and I have worked on several items alongside; I created the P6 and initial WBS levels, and
Rajina has provided her input to include more activities that we have worked on:

I was not sure if we needed to include one CSR per the entire team or one individually, so I downloaded the template
provided via Outlook-learn and filled it out. Since we were informed that we did not have to contact the Sandia/LANL
representative, I have created an email to meet this requirement.
