CONDITIONALS
I WISH
We use wish + past simple (V2) to say that we
want something to be different from how it is now.
Her hangi istediğimiz bir şeyin şu anda daha farklı
olması dileğimizdir.
e.g. I wish there was no Covid-19.
FORM OF I WISH …
(YAPISI)
 We normally wish for the present situation to be different (how we want
it). The verb (action) in the present changes to past in I wish sentences.
 Normalde şu andaki bir durumun istediğimiz gibi olmasını umarız /
isteriz. Şimdiki zamanda kullanılan fiil (hareket) I wish cümlelerinde
geçmiş halinde yazılır.
Present situation: Alison has Brown eyes. (present)
Wish: Alison wishes she had blue eyes. (past)
Present Situation: I don’t have chocolate to eat. (present)
Wish: I wish I had chocolate to eat. (past)
